How do I get started?

What is your process like?
My goal is to make your experience easy, comfortable, and fun from start to finish. Here’s how it works:
- Once you reach out on the ‘Contact Me’ (Contact) link or on the ‘Book Now’ link (Session Options), I’ll email you via Pixieset to schedule a quick 15-minute Google Meet video call. This is our chance to get to know each other, talk through your vision, and answer any questions.
- We’ll choose your location, date, and time together.
- I’ll send you a contract through Pixieset to review and sign.
- Once the contract is signed, you’ll receive your invoice to officially reserve your session.
- After your session, I’ll carefully edit your photos and deliver your final gallery within 6 weeks via Pixieset.
What should I wear?
I recommend neutral tones, soft colors, and outfits that feel like you. Avoid bold logos, busy patterns, or neon colors. I’m always happy to help with outfit ideas if you’d like guidance!
How many photos will I receive?
The number of photos varies by session type, but you can expect a carefully curated gallery of high-quality, fully edited images that reflect your experience and my artistic style.
Will you help us pose?
Absolutely! I’ll offer suggestions and gentle guidance throughout the session, but I love working with what feels natural for you. The best photos come when you’re being yourselves, so I encourage you to bring ideas, poses, or moments that feel authentic to you. My goal is for everything to feel relaxed, fun, and true to your personalities.
How much do you charge? What payment do you accept?
Every session is unique, so when you reach out, let me know what you’re looking for and I’ll guide you to the best option for you.
- All sessions require a $50 non-refundable retainer to reserve your date.
- A $75 travel fee applies for locations outside my 20–25 mile radius.
- All payments are made through Pixieset using Stripe.
Accepted payment methods:
Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and ACH.

What if I need to cancel or reschedule?
I totally understand that life happens. I do my best to be flexible while keeping my schedule fair for everyone.
- Sessions may be rescheduled once with at least 6 hours’ notice, depending on availability.
- If you arrive late, your session time will be shortened.
- If you cancel within 24 hours, payments are non-refundable.
- If you cancel with more than 24 hours’ notice, your retainer remains non-refundable.
For weather or illness:
- In cases of severe weather or if I become ill, sessions will be rescheduled or refunded at my discretion.
- Light rain or overcast skies do not automatically qualify for rescheduling.
- Final weather decisions are made by me.
To protect the integrity of my work:
Disagreement with my editing style or artistic approach is not a valid reason for refunds or contract termination.
What platform do you edit with?
I edit all photos using Lightroom.
My goal is for your images to feel honest, flattering, and true to you. My style is natural and timeless, focused on genuine emotion, clean composition, and moments that feel like real life.
